We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! I am still schocked to the core. Lisa only got a hold of me this morning, while I was visiting some friends in South Carolina. I just spend a few days with Josh and Lisa on their ranch in Texas, where we discussed another hunt for them this year. He shot a really nice elephant with me last year, and on the way to the airport he asked me if it would be possible to shoot another this year. Just shows you how precious and short life can be.

Josh, go well my friend.
To Lisa and the rest of the family, all my condolances.
Hang in there.

My thoughts and prayers are with Josh's family.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I never met Josh but followed his threads when he was buying his 375 Flanged and 450/400 SXS Searcy. I had been to Butch's shop and handled that rifle but went for a nice engraved 375 Flanged and a 500 NE instead.

I read his postings about preparing for his Elephant hunt and how excited he was and the success of the hunt.

I was happy for his success of the hunt and his excitement of the hunt on his return.

You can tell a lot about a person by his tone of his postings and Josh was always a gentleman and was so excited to get a double rifle and use it In Africa.

Condolocences to his Friends and Family.

I'll think of him on my next hunt in 2012.
