I was notified by his grandson yesterday (1-23-11) that Jim Lutes(age 88) of Whitewater, KS passed away. He was a noted collector/shooter of Sako rifles and co founder in 1982 of the Sako Collectors Assn.
Many of us will miss his dry wit and help with knowledge about Sako rifles and history.
