Or better yet a DVD about Alan and about the dangers of Dangerous Game and then the proceeds could go to Eleanor Lowe (his widow) to help her out. She is still struggling along on the ranch near Kwe-Kwe.

Sounds good.

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

I just returned yesterday from a safari with Lloyd Yeatman in Southern Zim. I didn't know Alan's story, but Lloyd was recounting some of his past experiences around the fire and mentioned that he was PH on the safari where they hung the plaque on the baobab. He was contracted by George Caswell and a friend (might have been JJ) to conduct a foot safari and hang the plaque on the way.
