Another special Big Manes Lions for $20 000.00 Daily rates $400 per day. Min 5 days. These are canned Lions in RSA. And they have to be hunted before 1 June 2007 according to the old rules. Put on 2500 acres 96 hours before client arrives. Not as easy as it sounds. Let me know if you are interested.

Royce: If you've been around since 2001, you obviously know what kind of response this thread is going to get. This topic has been beaten to death more than any others except maybe the 45-70 topic. Let it die its own fitful death.

It's not my cup of tea, but at least the hunter would have no illusions about the type of hunt on which he was going.

I have no problem with this as advertised. The first time I talked to anyone about this type of hunt it was exactly the same. There was no illusion that this was a wild lion. I can't help feeling that most people that go on these hunts do know that these lions are canned and really don't care. That's their business. There maybe some deception involved with these hunts but my guess is it is pretty rare.
