I'm back
I'm back
We made it back yesterday afternoon. It was a successful hunt. I got my Leopard after only four days hunting and lest than two hours in the blind at sunset. Best of all he was a monster! It was all I could do to hold it up for photos. In all I shot nine animals and my wife shot an Impala. We were finished in 7 days and put together a hunt in South Africa and shot a nice Nyala and Bushbuck.
Bear with me and I'll get some photos posted.
We had no problems in Zim or going into RSA with a gun.
I'll post more detail in the hunting reports section as I figure the posting photos part out.

Kino,
Congrats on the hunt!! Can't wait to see the photos.
It was a pleasure to chat with both of you at the airport.
Take Care,
-Steve
Oh my God I did it and without getting my wife to post the photos. Does this mean I'm a computer geek?

ShumbaKino,
That is a brute of a cat!
Lets hear more! (where, rifle, scope, bullet, etc.)
Tim
Thanks, we estimate him at or about 200lbs. He was weighed in the morning after the guts were removed and came in at 84 Kgs.
I'll post more on the hunting report forum. Just figured the posting photos out.

Mark in SCCongratulations on a spectacular leopard!
Now that I've seen yours, I'm going to have to go back and try to find a bigger one!
What was the overall length?
Thanks to all. I'm not quite a midget I'm 5'10", my wifes says I'm incredibly average

I posted a report in the hunting reports forum, but was unable to get the photos to take. It was late and I must have missed something the on those that I got right the first time. Anyhow I'm rested and ready to give it another shot. I'll post the photos to the report.

Are you a small guy or is that Leopard HUGE

Cheers,
Andr
Well I did it I got all the photos posted on the Hunting report and descriptions. This technical stuff is mentaly taxing for me, I'm drenched in sweat. I need to go get a shower.

Thanks to all for the kind remarks.
Kino,
There ain't nothing like trying to sort out technical details through a jetlag haze. I know, I do it for a living...
Hang in there, your doing fine. The photos, report, and trophies look great!
-Steve
HI,
Nice cat, did you recover any bullets,Kev
Steve, thanks. I enjoyed your photos particularly the Waterbuck and Eland. Do you have any idea how old the Eland was I liked the blonde colored brush he had going. Now I want one as well. I shot an old blue bull the first trip and he had an auburn colored brush. The two would look great together. Did you do any diving into that big pool? I didn't see a ladder on the side.
Kev, I had through and through penetration on nearly all my animals but the Zebra and Wildebeest. I got one bullet back from the Zebra. I was using a 350 Rem mag with 225 gr Nosler partitions. The one bullet I got mushroomed comleatly and the upper lead core was gone compleatly. Here's a shot of it.
