Well, I'm off to the Eastern Cape tomorrow for my first hunt ever! I'm doing an all womens hunts with the NRA that the T Jeffrey Safari Company has organzied.

On my list are a Blue Wildebeest, Springbuck, Blesbuck, and a mountain Reedbuck.

It has been amazing so far. SHE Safari has donated 3 full sets of outfits for each one of us, Blade Tech sent us the Ganyana knife, and rifle permits donated half of the rifle permit fee.

On top of that, it looks like 2 different camera crews will be joining us!

I'm sooooooooo excited and can't wait to give everyone a report and pictures.

Will the resulting movie be a "chick flick"? Good luck and good hunting. Wish I were going too!

I'm not sure. I just know they want to film everyone shooting stuff possibly for some upcoming tv shows.

Have a wonderful time and shoot straight. Africa is addicting and this will NOT be your only trip. We will look forward to your report and pics upon your return.

My husband and I depart tomorrow also. WE are traveling via London to Jo'burg, then on to Zim and Bots.

I think y'all will be going to Tollie Jordaan's place, my wife and I were there in June. It was our first trip also, it was wonderfull. I am sure your group will enjoy it as much as my wife and I did. Tell Puren, Andri and Beans ( 3 of the P.H.s ) Jim from Texas said hello and watch out for Puren's home brewed "Raisin Jack" man that stuff packs a punch.

Sounds like a great trip and loads of fun. You'll be looking smart in the SHE Safaris togs for the camoera but make sure to shoot straight.
