Are these all new shows?
This weeks show with 8 bore buffalo was to die for.
Except for Tony worrying about the cost of ammo.

Reminds me of the "Sport Fishing" anglers who own forty plus foot boats, scrambling around trying to sell 6 yellowfin tuna to help pay for fuel!

Thanks

Lhook7I saw that one this weekend. I was cracking up when he said how much he hated to miss becuase the ammo was so expensive.

Die Ou JagterWhy is that funny, have you ever been around guys with $500,000 motor homes asking each other about their fuel milage. People always worry about the pennies and nickles no matter how many they have.

I guess you are right. It costs me about $50 to fill up my truck and $9 to fill up my Harley, but I always bitch more about the $9.

Hunt4FunPerhaps he hated to miss because he was taking some piss-poor shots at buffalo. I can't believe he fired 3 shots at running, unwounded buffalo from those angles. I think he's been watching too many videos where the guy saves everyone by killing the charging wounded buff at the last moment. On a positive note, I used the show to educate my kids on when not to shoot.

wyattdI'm with Hunt4Fun on the shots taken. I'm no buff expert (never hunted one), but I wouldn't have taken those shots at a harmless whitetail that couldn't stomp me if I shot it in the leg. These are the only questionable shots I can remember seeing this fellow taking on video and I was rather shocked to see it. Other than that, I always enjoy watching his show.

stubbleduck47Often those who have the big expensive toys got them by paying very close attention to pennies.
I also noted his comment that the gun was an elephant gun, but "I don't shoot elephants".

Exactly right! People with big money generally got that way by being frugal. Sometimes, I wager, this is a hard habit to break. I know a guy, for instance, with more money than God who has NEVER bought a new car...even though he could easily just buy the dealership.

Steve RichardsI know Tony a little bit, and can assure you that he is by no means a cheap kind of guy. I suspect that he made the comment in jest. He has quite a collection of really fantastic 'toys'.
velodog, looks like Hatchet Jack when found clutching a Hawken with 2 broken legs froze to death. It caught my eye as well.
