Frans DiepstratenThose rooms at Atlantis again
I called Travelocity, trying to rearrange my booking (change my date of arrival from Tuesday to Thursday) at the Atlantis hotel. I was told this was impossible. I went back and forth with the lady on the phone a few times. I mean, the hotel is sold out is not really an argument if all one wants to do is cancel two nights, but hang on to the remaining three. Travelocity wouldn't budge, I could not change my reservation.
"Can we help you with anything else today, Sir, a car rental, maybe?" I vented my opinion on their organisation in polite but uncertain terms and declined further "assistance".
I called the hotel a second time, asking them to change the reservation. I was put on hold for a few minutes, after which things got settled very swiftly.
"We don't work with that particular operator anymore, Sir" was the answer when I told her about my ordeal with Travelocity.

Widowmaker416Frans,
You know what's strange, Travelocity just does the bookings. They handle no part of the money.
I've talked with Altantis about my room and the payment. I can't understand why they can't work with you, Altantis that is. I think you need to call them back and speak to someone that knows something, mangement!
They do have you down for reservations, yes?
good luck!!

Frans DiepstratenAtlantis was very forthcoming the second time I called, and they changed my reservation. First time they didn't want to touch it.
They gave me a reservation number so I should be all set!
