Give me a call when you are well.
I still have some connections with the local Zoo.
Maybe I can get you a charge with a Tiger or a "large" Primate...
I do have some experience in such matters...
Then WE can drink some Whisky...

JudgeGThanks, tony, but one broken leg is enough!
BTW, I checked on the "attempted escapee". Word is that he's in the psych pod & just mumbling nonsense???

NorwegianwoodsI am very sorry to hear about your injury.
I hope you will have a speedy recovery so you can go hunting again soon.
Well done with the low life!

19 February 2012, 15:38
BNagelSo, Judge, do you now have a name for your legs, like, I dunno -- Matilda (or whatever Quartermain's double was called / Sean Connery playing him in "League of Extra-ordinary MGentlemen")?
Best wishes on the recovery

Don EdwardsSorry you were injured while helping educate that young man. If it's any small consolation...you very likely saved other's from his attacks by demonstrating to him that he's a poor judge of "victims".

Did they have that flat nose known for blunt trama or were they pointy for a good bc.

J DYou did not have enough shoe
Steel toe work boots you would not have been injured.
Instead of carrying on in the bigbore or african forum we need to move this to varmite

Tim ViningJudge,
You should have been a PH. Standing firm, taking aim and putting down the charging beast. although your foot took one for the team, it beats the hell out of getting run over. Defineatly counts as your second DG charge.
Tim

Alaska HunterErnest,
That's quite a story. As you are aware, life is an adventure and you never know what you'll be confronted with.
I'm sure you'll take the positive approach, reflect and write if you can't hunt.
Best wishes on a speedy recovery,
Mike

Bwana NderoboGet well soon, Judge. In your line of work, it must have felt good (if only momentarily) to 'kick the unmitigated shit' (stealing that line) out of one who so well deserved it. You'll be back on African soil before you know it.

surestrikeJudge,
You are my new hero old man!! What's the old saying about self defense...

2. Skill set
3. Tool set
You are wired tight, nice work! Never mess with a fighter pilot, double that for a Marine fighter pilot!!

leopards valley safarisHi Judge
How did the Ortho session go?? I hope its a clean break as you say with no surgery. Best of luck and let us know.

21 February 2012, 21:48
JudgeGClean break, no surgery, weight on walking cast as pain allows.
I just negotiated the stairs to my upstairs living room, had a shower unassisted, made some coffee, put a venison Shepard's pie in the oven, "bumped" with a walker over to the couch and am beginning to work from home on the computer.
Life ain't so bad.
