Great photo of the three of you. I've been trying to locate a vendor for Buzz's hunting boots, they're hard to find.

Thanks, Wink. There are much better photos in my hunt report.

Funny thing, those shopworn sandals of his. On one occasion we were moving through a stream bed and his shoe broke (again). Without even slowing down, Buzz reached down and removed his sandal, pulled out his multi-tool, fished out a piece of wire from his pocket, and proceeded to make the repair while trekking along carrying his rifle and scanning for spore. Remarkable!

As to your finding a vendor, perhaps if you packaged his 'boots' in tandem with his trademark hat, you might interest Cabelas! The new 'Buzz Charlton Collection' could give Ralph Lauren a run for his money.

Gosh, Will. Thanks for the kind comment.

Out of curiosity, why do you govern such helpful insights when it comes to accolades directed at the book you peddle on AR?

Hey, I like Buzz. I just like to give him static. Just trying to keep him humble. Smiler

Ah, it was a lesson in humility! Perfectly natural coming from a man who has so much to be humble about. Thanks for the clarification, Will.

Will,

Do you make these arrogant slights in person or are these reserved for the safety of the internet?

Just curious, we've already expressed the word which describes your internet personality though haven't we? tu2

Fawning is a good word. Buzz in a great PH, but spend a little time in his camp when he is not around and you will hear some very amusing Buzz stories. Goofy behavior makes people more interesting. I will say no more.
