Fallow BuckSticky Fingers In the RSA Postal Service
Gents,
I thought it worth noting that after sending my teams permit applications to RSA for pre arrangement I got a call from the PH on Friday asking me why I only sent one guys passport copy and nothing for anyone else.
After closer inspection on the envelope Dennie found a sticker that said the envelope was found open and resealed in the post office..... All the details inside were gone for 5 members of our party.
Given we have 6 days here before we travel It was a bit of a blow. I'm glad to say that we managed to piece together all the documents for the team, re-validate them and scan to PDF before emailing them over. The local police has been quite helpful, (although I'm sure Dennie didn't give them much of a choice...

) And I'm assured the team will have their permits arranged.
So now we have the hunting sorted, what should we do about the small matter of potential identity fraud?
Rgds,
Kiri

Adrian ParhamAfter returning from Zim a couple of years ago a group of us sent quite a shipment of school supplies to a school near Turk mine.(north of Bulawayo)
They were never received or heard from. Never ship anything of value to Africa.

Fallow BuckG,
All docs are now with the police thanks to the wonder of scanners and emails and originals will be with me upon arrival. I sent the parcel recorded delivery but still not enough. It seems that your courier option is the best choice.
Either way less than a week to go. We'll see you in SA on the 7th.
Rgds,
K
