Great photos........ but I've gotta ask, do you have any future plans to take them out when they're older and use them for coursing?
That'd be something I'd like to see!

Kamo GariI'm slightly disappointed, Saeed. It would be so very easy to wait for Walter to doze off, then to hide bits of meat in his clothes and release the cats. Have you no imagination, sir?

SaeedSteve,
There is not much to hunt with them around here I am afraid.
I can imagine the hassle one would have to go through to take them to another country to hunt with!

Fallow BuckWhat kind of game could you course them on? I'd love to see them on a fox over here!!

reddy375In the old days they used them for hunting blackbuck in India. Those were the Asian Cheetahs, now extinct!

Gayne C. YoungSaeed,
I wrote an article about hunting with cheetas in the Spring 2008 issue of Under Wild Skies. If you didn't get a chance to see it I'd be glad to send you a copy.
So, do you think your boys will be able to chase down a blackbuck antelope in a few years time?

Not a problem! Get some dark sunglasses and a long white cane. Get the cheetah in a harness and they have to let you on the plane - a seeing-eye cheetah. Heck, you can even tall them it's your seeing eye dog, and I would doubt anyone would have the heart to tell this poor blind man that someone passed off a cheetah as a dog.
Anything else we can help you with?

SaeedWell, we do have black buck in our backyard. Their mommy has caught several partridges as the go close to her.
They are becoming an absolute menace!
As soon as I walk into their room, they come running. They bite my toes, and as soon as I sit down, they try to climb onto my head and sit on my shoulders. I had a small camera and one of them saw me put it in my pockets. Se would not stop trying to get it out of there.
I put a video camera on that tripod you can see. They would come and play arond, then one or two would go to the tripod and try to pull it down.
As they get tired, they would come and climb onto my legs and lay down. I pick them up and put then next to me. They get up and climb up again.
They are friendly with everyone, and love to have people around.
