Mark and I have been friends for a number of years now, and frankly - I'm not here to debate his videos/etc. I am here to confirm what many of us know, which is that Mark often times is a generous and nice guy.

I never expected to see him in SLC this past weekend at the Western Hunting Expo - so when I did, I introduced him to my girlfriend. She was admiring his elephant hair bracelet - when he promptly took it off his wrist and gave it to her. Then he told her the significance of that particular bracelet. It was from the largest elephant he's ever guided as a PH - 85lbs!!! She was very excited about that, and I appreciated his gesture very much - Thanks my friend!!!!!

Later that evening, we had dinner together at the auction/banquet!!!

A Double bracelet at that. Yip, just another one of the good guys.

I did not talk to him much but we did stop at his booth for a few minutes. Very nice guy!

After hunting with Mark last February, along with Larry Shores, I can also confirm that Mark is a very nice guy. He's not very good at drinking Scotch and playing pool though! (But then again, neither am I)
Seriously, he is very polite and proper.

Don't worry Aaron. Somebody will come along with something crappy to say.

I agree with Rick. Mark was the perfect gentleman . He has a great sense of humor. He was lot of fun to be around not to mention interesting to be around . I would happily hunt with him and may well do so .

On, one other thing . He has some serious rifles .

Ordered one of his books prior to my buffalo hunt. He kindly inscribed it to me and my father who was joining me...and threw in one of his videos gratis. Nice guy.

I was very impressed with Mark when I met him this last weekend at the expo. We talked to him for 15 minutes and he was engaging and funny the whole time.

At one point he pulled out his 577, 600, and 700 rounds to showoff. I told him I shoot a 470, to which he promptly replied, "My mother shots a 470." When my friend mentioned that he shots a 30-06, Mark said, "I can get my mother to work up a load for you." Then we all had a good laugh.

Met him at the expo. talked with him for a few minutes, and found him to be quite personable. I look forward to speaking with him again in the future.
