Help Welcome SkyJacker to AR
My cousin is waiting on his registration to be approved. His AR name will be SkyJacker, and right now he is home recuperating from a very mild heart attack. He needs some cheering up as he is very bored, so if you have time, make him feel welcome please. He is friends with JudgeG also, but don't hold that against him (just kidding).

JudgeGJust what you need... to be called SkyJacker when you're about half way to Dar es Salaam on your first safari!

In any event, I've about got your lease problem figured out with Mr. Ashe... good news there, and I hope that helps you go ahead and get well.
Welcome aboard!
JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.
Welcome aboard. If you're related to Dale you can't be all bad!

I do agree with Ernest though, that callsign can get you smoked! jorge

UplandhunterWelcome, I hope you are well.
The only difference between a major heart attack and a minor one, is it is major when it happens to you. It is minor when it happens to someone else.
Welcome skyjacker... now there's something I never thought I'd say!
What do you guys drink? One buddy with kidney stones and the other with a heart attack?

Get well soon, both of you!

SkyJackerThank you for all the well wishes. It sucks being on the mend. Especially since I'm 33 and relatively healthy. Chalk one up for stress and anxiety.
I guess I need to clarify my handle. It was given to me by a Texas Goose Hunting Guide in El Campo. He called anyone who shot a bird out of the stratosphere a "SkyJacker". Obviously the practice is not encouraged and I don't endorse it. On this one occassion there was a one, single canadian goose flying in the stratosphere above our spread late in the morning. No other birds in sight. So I asked the guide if I could try to "Jack it" and he said, "You're crazy. I couldn't shoot that out of the sky, and if I couldn;t shoot it, you couldn't shoot.. " BAMM! I didn't give him a chance to finish his sentence as the bird came tumbling out of the sky. He was miffed. And hence my nickname for the rest of the trip.
Anyway, thats the story. Tnank you for welcoming me. I look forward to meeting and posting with many of you for years to come. This is a great site.

They say though, you can pick your friends, but not your relatives...seems you're unlucky at both ends.
