KathiWhen it comes to success, and accomplishing goals… Mr. Mike Ingram is no stranger. As of recent, Mike has potentially set a new record by harvesting what may be the heaviest wild leopard ever put on a scale, weighing in at 101.5kg (225lbs).
Just over a year ago, Mike booked his safari with WLH with the goal of taking a world-class leopard. WLH partner Shaun Buffee immediately knew where to start, and what cat to target.
With several BIG leopards in the area, the team was meticulous in waiting for the one enormous cat they were targeting. They spent days meticulously sorting through tracks, leveraging Shaun’s extensive knowledge of the area, its wildlife, and his attention to detail. Their patience paid off when they identified the right track. The hounds performed exceptionally, pinning the enormous cat in a rock pile while Mike and the team strategically approached from above.
Not many 80+ year old men are tough enough to make the hike or hold steady and true enough to hold it together while a giant leopard roars over the baying hounds. Standing on top of the rocks with the cat bayed underneath, Mike was ready when the leopard charged the dogs anchoring the 225lb monster of a leopard.
Congratulations Mike, and thank you for placing your trust in WLH Safaris. Your efforts in safeguarding the rights of hunters and Americans highlight your patriotism. We are proud to know you and celebrate your remarkable achievement.

fulvioThat Leopard is most certainly a monstrous well fed brute by all means but why describe its size in weight when traditionally and/or by regulations, the size of a cat has always been quoted in terms of length and by skull measurements, none of which are mentioned as reference to this one.

georgeldYep, and after the court case on another thread about Lemon too.
I just read that through last night.
From what I read. Lemon is up our local river 38 miles at Florence spending two months thinking about how to get even.
Where's Larry on this?
Hell of a cat, no denying that part.
George

BakesBig cat for sure...but why is it when someone kills a big leopard, they feel compelled to pick it up?
