That's a good article. I've always enjoyed Carmichel's writings though he's almost single-handedly responsible for my wasteful ways.

Pat Hepburn, the first PH mentioned in the article, is the father of Peter Hepburn a PH active in Botswana today. Pete is a fine gentleman with a dry wit and a very cool PH. I've enjoyed hunting with Pete on a couple of safaris and can recommend him highly.

Pat Hepburn died of a heart attack in his safari camp (in about 1983 I believe).

A refreshing change from what he usually writes about some cartridge he has developed that will do what no predessor will do to a bullet and of caourse the target or animal.

Besides going through many pairs of boots their second greatest need is always fresh underwear. Charlie
