butchlocnew jersey law voided
A federal district court has ordered that New Jersey cannot enforce a ban on the import and possession of Big Four trophies, following a suit by Conservation Force, the Garden State Taxidermist Association, a New Jersey taxidermist, and five New Jersey hunters. The court judged that the state act is “preempted by and void” under relevant federal laws listed in the Endangered Species Act of 1973.

PSmithExcellent outcome.
It is frustrating though to think of all the taxpayers' money that is wasted by cities, states, etc. when they pass idiotic laws and then subsequently have several trials in various courts. The current suits in California over CCW being a prime example as was this New Jersey bullshit.
