TwicePipesArnold Payne, has anyone hunted with him??
A buddy of mine said he talked to a gentleman by the name of Arnold Payne at the Houston Show about a possible elephant hunt in Botswana, and asked if I had ever heard anything about his operation. I told I didn't recall ever talking to him but the name sounds familiar. Then it hit me, was this the person that was offering the world record or top 5 cape buffalo last year???

Do a search on this forum and especially the "Outfitters Offered hunts" forum and you will be able to see what he offers.
Larry, wasn't Payne offering lion "hunts" near or on Sparrow's place when Sparrow took off for RSA leaving the lions behind? Coincidence?

I do recall some lion issues at Sparrow's property. However, I do not recall if Mr Payne was selling lion hunts there or not.
If I recall correctly, this buff in question was shot by an Englishman, perhaps a banker, named Angus something or another. I think it was taken in South Africa with a firm named Stone Safaris. Does anyone recall?

Angus Murray, IIRC.
