gringo_pistoleroBoddington has used it on buff and ele and speaks well of it in his revision of "Safari Rifles" and also in some videos he has done. Ruger makes a left-hand action which may be part of the appeal for him.

BrettAKSCII recently purchases one, but haven't taken it to Africa yet. It shoots sub 1/2" at 100 yards, but attaining near factory velocity from reloads is a trick. I maxed out on RL 15 with outstanding accuracy but with 300 grain TSX at about 2475fps. I have a friend who had good velocity/accuracy results from RL 17, so we'll see.

David CulpepperI have one of the LH 375 Rugers and love it. Like the others I have not taken it to Africa yet, it will just be another excuse to return to Africa. When my buddy and I were first sighting it in he liked it so much he had a local gun shop price one for himself.
Yes the short barrel is great, makes getting thru the thick brush a lot easier.
