He's a loose canon at times

but his heart is in the right place.
SCI actually should look at getting his whole family band out for a show. Cost nothing but airfares and accomm...

Matt GrahamIf anyone is interested... this is a clip from a reality series about this great Aussie family - it never made it to air unfortunately.

Life On the Road
Give me a camp fire with Steve, and, I must insist, with the rest of his entire family, minus none, any day, over any other camp fire.
Life lessons to be learned there, though in my case, learned already, yet nonetheless fun in the telling, and re-telling!

Oh I wish!! Never even happened for me but I have shared a few camp fires with some of them at different times. The I Like Guns album concept was conceived at one of those campfires in fact.
I actually co-wrote a song on his second album - not that I am a muso but any stretch but I was compelled at one time to put some words together.

Yes indeed.
Get on a plane in August Mike and come join us!!!!

I cant promise 5 family members but I can promise Steve and a guitar and his ever present magic tricks!!

Michael RobinsonWe will make that happen, Matt. Though I'm headed for Mozambique in September, so will have to wait 'til next year - God willing, or Inshalla, as they say.
Steve is a loose enough cannon to still shoot in my general direction . . .

stomperHands down sci has the worst banquets at their national conventions anyways. The hours and hours of patting each other on the back and handing out awards noone cares to see is mind numbing enough. It kills any desire to see any band in my book. However my wife and i started skipping the backpatting and show up around 9 and catch any entertainment if there is any. The true entertainment is on the show floor talking hunting with people youve never met. But thats just my opinion.

jdollaryou mean you don't enjoy watching a bunch of guys brag about the their inner/outer circle jerk awards, while thanking their poor suffering wife for allowing them to follow their passion??

Matt GrahamThe awards ceremonies are just a part of the gaiety!!!

Banquets? I struggle with them.... hardly ever go...
I went to one last year and the band was playing hits from the 60's. You guys might like that stuff but after sitting through the auctions I would rather blow my brains out.
