Q1 hunting options
Being a bit impatient, I won't wait for Safari Guide II to show up in the mail and dig out the answers myself. What are the African hunting options for the first 3 months of the year. I'm thinking west Africa, Uganda, SA private land and Namibia in Feb and Mar. Any refinements on that list will be appreciated.

Aaron NeilsonCentral Africa for sure, C.A.R. in particular. Masailand in Tanzania would be good then. Big question is, what do you want to hunt?
At this stage, just figuring out what is available, so no real wish list yet. I've posted the same question on other regional boards, so I'm not even married to Africa. Things are on track to sell the company I'm currently with, leaving me with time and money for a trip early in 2012. Of course that was the plan last year too

. I have ruled out a few things. Cats don't do it for me and a Masai buffalo hunt is likely out of my price range.
Ethiopia!!! Definitely worth checking.
Good luck on your search and hunt.
I think this hunt would be a kick in the pants--been wanting to do this hunt since bwanamrm went awhile ago.

That's correct: July 1 - March 31, each year.
