Buffalo specials
My friend Jeffrey is looking for a buff hunt for himself and three friends.Three of them want a buffalo and two of them want a sable. The group would also like to take some plains game. He has a quote from an outfitter for 7 days and air charter in Mozambique $41,500.US all included and I told him we could come up with at least five better offers in the next 48 hours.
I know you guys have offered buff hunts at 6995. Seems to me ya'll could put together a lot better deal than what he has now.
So sharpen up them pencils and start the calcualting and lets see what we come up with..eyedoc

Game Trackers Africa, has a "Buffalo Special",in Tanzania. 7 days, everything including air charter for $8550 per person 2X1. But, I'm afraid that the Sable will be impossible in Tanzania on a seven day hunt.

Toby..

You missed a great show in Reno. Eugene is correct and the prices will stand for a hunt in 2005 on the buff special in Tanzania.

THat sounds about the going rate [ reasonable offer ] if sable x 2 are included. Of cource in Zimbabwe the price could be beat.

WE have sable at the ranch in Zambia but they are unfortunately only on 14 day hunts.

If the [ four guys only wanted cape buff ] no sable, then I can do them an [ all up ] very good cape buff offer of $29K in Zambia. The only extra costs NOT INCLUDED are for freight ex:Lusaka to home destination, overnights at Livingstone as required at $350 per share twin room, and specie fees for any plains game hunted, excluding sable & roan as they are 14 day.

Ray,

I'm sure it was a slip of the keyboard, but Hippo, Sable & 3 Buff are on 21 day licence, not 14..... hope you don't mind me pointing out the error.

I hope to be posting some early & late season Tanzania Buff specials soon if it's of any interest to anyone.

They still have that same special on. It was a show special including air chartes and all goverment fee's that is still valid.

Drop me a mail if you need more information.

Toby, did you come by the Game Trackers booth at Reno?

Eye Doc,
Sounds like to me that you are about to get into a wreck...but maybe not....

If you want a better deal then perhaps Zimbabwe is the answer...Sable is the sticker in your deal...

Tanzania: 16 days, 1x1 at $28,000. each plus trophies will get you All the plainsgame, hippo, Croc, Sable and 3 Buffalo each..No cats or elephant...
$8850 will get you a 7 day Buff and 5 head of plainsgame available for trophy fees, price is all inclusive of one buff, air charter, dip and ship, the works.

RSA: $600 per day, Buff trophy fees are about $10,000, Sable run about $5500. Sable trophy quality is fantastic.

Mabelingwane,

No, sorry, but I did not make it to Reno. This is my busy season, and it's tough to make the trip. I have good men that work for me. But since I'm paranoid, I can't make it easy on myself to drop everything and travel for several days during the busy season. I did make the Atlanta and Birmingham shows, locally.

Eugene Visague, a junior partner of GTA, is a very good friend of mine. He's been working with GTA on opening up an area in the Congo, and he also hunts their areas in Botswana, Tanzania, and RSA. He stayed at my home for a few days before he returned to RSA a couple weeks ago. It is my understanding, that you can book a 2005 hunt for the $8550 as well. He did say that the price may change after the first of the year, but anything booked before then will stand at this price.
