Cape Town - A male lion from the Kruger has endured the worst day of his life, as his was ousted from the lion pride in a vicious fight.

In a Mufasa vs Scar move, the lion is pinned down by a stronger lion who bites into his neck.

While the lion roars with pain and as the travellers filming the scene begin to sympathise, another male attacks his nether regions, ready to make a meal out of his manhood.

The calls of distress get the attention of a herd of buffalo who seem to be coming to his rescue as the other lions run away, instead, the wobbly lion is left to fend for himself and in the process gets thumped on the head by a buffalo.

The footage was shot at Mala Mala in the Greater Kruger National Park. Kruger Sightings reports the lion later died at a place called Buffalo Pan.

Just a thought, if the late recently deceased lion could have made a choice between say a 300 grain projectile and having his throat, neck or testicles chewed ????
