An unusual Mt. Nyala
Here's a very nice Mt. Nyala from our Damaro Concession early this month. I've never seen one with quite this much flair before.

Absolutely splendid. A royal flare.

Anybody's (mostly mine)dream. You know how to tease my dear Rich!
Can You tell us the horns'size of the Mt nyala and the global size of the critter compared to the South Af Nyala's?
The most coveted trophy, no doubt at all. Rich You are really dealing nuggets.

The horns measured 39" but I don't have the total score. Body wise , Mt Nyala are about the size of a spike elk. Probably 550 LbS

When I first looked at the picture, the way the tips flair, it reminded me of catalina goat.

At any rate, I wish I had one just like it sitting next to my common nyala. I know Canuck will like it, with his obsession with kudu that turn outward like that.

Nice nyala!

Rich,
What an unusual beauty!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling
