Has anyone seen or know where to get copies of this series called "The Big Ones"? It was made in the early sixties with the late Herb Klein and filmed and edited by another Weatherby award winner, the late, Basil Bradbury. Brad was a good friend and I saw several episodes at his home in California. They were never released because when JFK was shot there was a antigun/hunting backlash which also ended the great hunting series, The Ammerican Sportsman.

The "Big Ones" was very well done with some sensational animals taken. The hunts were in North America and Africa.
I had heard that "Bubba" somebody from Texas had bought the rights to the series. Any help would be appreciate.

You might try contacting Jim Shockey. His television show always runs a few clips from the "Big Ones." He could probably put you in touch with whoever owns the rights.

Jim- I think you might be refering to Bubba Woods who owns Collectors Covey in Dallas or Ft Worth. Shockey is running clips as M16 says.Bob Butler.
