African Movies on TV
On a lighter note, my local (Chicago) TV guide lists three movies for us Africa aficionados this week. All times noted are Central Standard Time:

Tuesday 11/16/04 9:30 AM "Zulu"
Wednesday 11/17/04 10:30 AM "Something of Value"
Thursday 11/18/04 5:00 AM "The Snows of Kilimanjaro"

"Zulu" & "Something of Value" are on AMC while "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" is listed on TCM.

Check your local listings.

Thanks, RCG. I'm familiar with Zulu and Snows of Kilimanjaro, but not "Something of Value". Do you have a short review?

It is the film adaptation of the Robert Ruark novel of the same name set during the Mau Mau crisis in Kenya in the 1950's.

Excellent book with the usual Hollywood shortcuts.
