This is a well-written and well-reasoned article.

The minister was obviously forced by politics to pull her punches and palliate the antis more than they deserve.

Yet she did manage to refer to the proposed UK trophy import ban as a knee-jerk reaction that elevates sentiment over facts and even the value of human lives.

One can only hope that her logic will not be entirely lost on her intended audience.
