Ackley Improved UserThe Next Generation of African Hunters
I'm doing my share of fostering the next generation of African hunters...see Chase and Zak my new grandsons. With those fancy camo vests on, I told my daughter not to forget where she put he babies down, because she might not be able to find them...that is until they give their location away by needing their diapers changed. Each has a big buck stocking cap on.
Chase is celebrating his first hard bossed bull.
Zak is still sizing up the situation.

lavacaAndrew,
You might need to look at 2040 or so. Let's see, how old will we be?

SkylineAIU........ congrats. Cute kids! Brings back memories, my wife and I have twin grandsons. When they were born my wife did a similar thing and bought them both camo sleepers and little mum suits. She had a heck of a time finding that stuff.
Enjoy the years ahead with them. Ours just started driving this year and soon they will be off to college. (Surely we can't be that old already?

)

surefire7It's amazing how even newborns can communicate.
The last two photos clearly are showing a preference for something in the 40 caliber range. Without speech yet, nonverbal comms will have to suffice. Four fingers=40 caliber.
Congratulations on some fine looking grandsons!

AIU........ yes. They seem to like fishing a bit more than hunting at this point, but they are at the age where girls and trucks factor into things pretty heavily.
At one point, when they were around 10/11, they began drifting away from it because of the social pressure in school. Their parents straightened them out on that pretty quick. Our oldest daughter is very much pro-gun and a hunter. The son-in-law is an ardent angler and hunts a little.
Spend as much quality time as you can with your grandsons. Lots of good memories ahead.
