I have a Brit friend living in Dubai going to Zimbabwe to hunt in 2009. He is considering importing his 416 Rigby to Dubai. Is that advisable? He understands it is possible, but ammo can not be brought in. Any trouble getting ammo in Dubai so he can target shoot before his hunt?

Any dangers of losing the rifle by not being able to export it later?
