Use Enough GunI always enjoy going to find out what the ruckus is all about when you see them circling or perched in the trees. Usually a poached animal. But sometimes it's a surprise, like a predator kill. Outstanding pictures!

BlacktailerWhat amazes me is that when you are hunting you don't see vultures, but by the time you finish skinning an animal, there are hundreds circling in the sky and sitting in the trees just waiting for you to get out of the way. Hey, we need a vulture gremlin

BahatiIvan
Thanks. I'd love to credit for these, but the photos were in fact taken by Guys Stubbs (the massed pics) and the others by André Botha. Super pics.
André was in Coutada 10 last year as part of a raptor & ground hornbill conservation project that we are getting into with the EWT and the Hawk Foundation in the UK as all of these (and other) birds are abundant in our area and we can really be of help with supporting their research of these birds in their natutral habitat.
Here are a few more ...
The third species of vulture we see a lot is the the small guy in the front - the hooded vulture. Another white headed in the background.
Cleared to land - a white back.
General meeting.
