Mayo Oldiri safaris operate various concessions in Cameroon. Past clients include the likes of Jim Shockey, Craig Boddington and Mark Buchanan. Guav Johnson is one of their PH's. I have booked a Lord Derby Eland Safari with them in Feb 2015. From the references I have received, they seem to be a top outfit.

Haven't hunted with them but I do know Guav Johnson, one of their PHs; I was an observer on an elephant hunt with him.

He is a highly regarded PH and a great guy.

PH's simply DO NOT come better than Guav. I promised you.......he CAN walk the legs off a Lord Derby and an Elephant. DO NOT go with him unless you are in the shape of your life!!! You still won't have a chance!! I think Cornel Wilde was thinking of Guav when he made that film "The Naked Prey". Except Guav wasn't born yet, and Guav would have run those guys to death.

Did you see that short film about the bushmen running that Kudu to death? I think Guav was playing the part of one of the bushmen. Ha.

Oh......you can probably go with Guav if you are really Old, or really Fat, or cannot walk at all. Then he would simply run the damn beastie in front of the cruiser.

The owner is ANTONIO REGUERA BUENO a well known professional from Madrid,he learned from famous spanish ph Felix Barrado.
MAYO OLDIRI operates in Camerun and in Mozambique.
In Camerun he has 13 camps ,11 operating currently ,and in Mozambique they have 2 camps.
Hes a great international hunter too.
