I think I'd like to do an elephant hunt in Namibia this year. Who should I hunt with and in which area??

Any recommendations/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

The quota is quite limited. You may not have much of a choice. You should move before the shows. I may have one for you, PM me if interested.

Brad,

I would seriously consider Zimbabwe. I think the hunting is great and the prices will be better. Talk to Buzz or Myles (Charlton McCallum Safaris, www.cmsafaris.com) about an early season bull hunt in Dande East. If it were me, that is what I would do. You going to be in Dallas?

Brad,

The ele guru in Namibia is Kai Uwe Denker. His area produces consistently large ivory. Although I heard his concession in Bushmanland was up for tender last year. Sorry, I do not know the status for 2010.

Hard to beat Kai for really, really big ivory. He is an old school hunter, not big on luxury camps, but he produces. Best I heard was a 114 pound ele, 4 or 5 years back.

Vaughn Fulton is an excellent choice as well. Talk to Wendell, he will get you the right info.

Good luck!
