Here is my personal favourite, unfortunately not a trophy photo, but its all I have on my laptop of him. He has length, curl back (though worn shorter by at least 1 inch per side), and great caracter. A produt of the Kalahari in Namibia.

And here he is mounted.

You might have guessed it, its my personal trophy, the third biggest one I have hunted myself.

Karl,

If you did not shoot the springbuck that specific day it would have fallen over dead the next day. Never seen an springbuck with such worn horns before super. thumb

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Here's another Namibian Springbok, taken in May, 2007, with a .270 WCF. The horns are 16.75 and 16.50 inches. Biggest problem I observed in hunting a Springbok was selecting which one to take out of herds of hundreds! Truly amazing sights for a North American hunter.

Here is one I saw hanging in a store in Luderitz.

He may not be a monster (I taped him at 14 5/8) but he has good mass and a classic shape . . . and was past his prime, by my estimation of tooth wear.

Well, I started this thread and now I can post my own! Taken on Vaughan Fulton's Tsiseb conservancy and he was 16".
