Can anyone who has done one give me a "guesstimate" of the cost for a PAC elephant hunt?
This would be exclusive of air costs, charters, or gratuities. I was getting ready to schedule a plains game hunt and thought perhaps an elephant hunt might be possible. Also, I would appreciate any suggestions for a safari company. Thanks!

We can offer 2 PAC hunts:

ONE IS $8,000 PER BULL AND A NIGHT HUNT FOR CROP RAIDERS. THE OTHER IS $9,900 10 DAYS 1X1 FOR PAC OR NON-TROPHY BULL. PLAINS GAME CAN BE TAKEN FOR TROPHY FEES. IN EITHER CASE GRATUITIES ARE ONLY EXTRA COSTS.

You might also consider a tuskless hunt. I hunted two tuskless with Charlton-Mccallum safaris in 2007 and went along with Myles McCallum in sorting out a problem bull.

Wendell Reich has posted some non-export elephant hunts in the Caprivi -- www.huntersquest.com.

They may all be filled up but you can keep your eyes open for cancellations. I suspect there will be some deals this year.
