Maybe this is the photo that should replace Walter's photo. That bull had an exceptionally large segment of tusk inside the lip. Amazing specimen. Cool

Congratulations. Keep up hope the ban will be overturned and you can get yours back. I'm afraid many tusks might "disappear," though.

WOW!!!!

I never thought I would hear of a 150 pounder being shot again.

Where has it been hiding the last 15-20 years?

The most amazing trophy taken this millennium?

Will ivory this size ever be taken again?

Congratulations to all involved. A dream fulfilled!

Sir congratulations that is an elephant of several life times!

I agree you should find a museum or something were they can be exhibited for many generations to appreciate in the case you can't bring them back home

Again, my sincere congratulations!

First....STUNNING trophy! Congratulations!
Second, am I reading this correctly in that the restriction on export was from the Zim side or are we just talking about the US import ban being the problem?

Now that is a proper Bull. Congrats to all involved.
As most of the great Tuskers are known will be very interesting to hear of any and all theories of where this great Bull has spent his life..

After more than two decades of hunting elephant the old fashioned way, on foot and up close, Buzz deserves a bull like that.

Great picture Kim, nice work!

What a great trophy. So unlikely to see another like that again due to the rampant poaching. If only all elephant areas had the same anti poaching as places like Dande safari area.

Gotta say that if they were mine, I'd be looking at ways to ship them to somewhere like Europe or elsewhere where there isn't an import ban because there's no way on God's earth, I'd be happy with leaving them in Africa and most certainly not leaving them with the Zim Govt.
