Matt,
You 'choose' to be the SCI spokesperson therefore you get all due SCI criticism.
If the shoe fits Matt just wear it.
keep posting drivel.
Bloody hell Matt!
If we don't know any better we would have sworn you are being paid by SCI to be such a devoted cheerleader

Do you think SCI made a poor choice in reserving their opinion on this?

That appears to be a statement. Which plate would that be exactly?

Frankly, I find it very hard to find something useful coming from those managing SCI!
That old saying "they cannot manage a piss up in a brewery" comes to mind

Matt GrahamSo you dont have an opinion on SCI's action now? I recall you chastising them at the time.

I believe that
you would find fault in SCI no matter what their course of action is. Such is your personal vendetta.

I on the other hand have only faulted them when they make decisions that prove that they had their head up their @$$ when they made them...like not signing on to the Definition of a Huntable Male Lion...permanently putting to rest whether the major scientific community (including Packer) supported responsible hunting or not...which they did and were willing to put in print. The problem was that SCI was NOT for responsible hunting...therefore they wouldn't.

Matt GrahamStill ranting Lane?
I see very many faults in SCI - this was not one of them.

All that shows is that you are part of the problem.
But...I figured that out quite some time ago.

The joke is on SCI (and the org supporters)...but sadly...the lion will pay the debt.

Matt GrahamI suppose SCI was to blame for the Botswana situation too? And Kenya - what the hell.

And every other country with lions that doesnt allow hunting for them at all.
29 September 2015, 06:04
ledvmNo Matt...but SCI had a chance to prove to the world that hunters are conservationists with back up from the worlds leading lion scientists and powerful orgs like Panthera.
They chose to prove to the world that SCI doesn't give a $h!t.
The real problem is that the rest of the world equates SCI's action with the collective thoughts of all hunters.

Matt GrahamWhat world are you living in - where the inhabitants intensely follow SCI's actions?

29 September 2015, 08:05
ledvmUnlike you Matt (and SCI)...I actually keep up with and understand the politics of the world that affect hunting...something that is very important in my life.

Actually...'I' get along with Panthera well. Luke Hunter is a personal friend. I can dial his number and have a rational conversation with him anytime.
If you go and look...you will see his name on "the Definition" giving his blessing to sustainable ethical hunting.
If you are to stupid to see how important that endorsement of lion hunting was...you fit right in with SCI brass as they were too and permanently alienated them.
Yep...Panthera could have been an ally of the hunting community until SCI f@(ked it up.

Go ahead...You go on supporting those organisations who support the anti's - and I will keep supporting ALL hunting organisations.
Will you be attending Panthera's "Cecil Summit" in Oxford next year? You can hear about how Cecil the Wonder Lion was "tragically killed".

fujotupuYou're pissing against the wind with this one Lane; his running mates seem to be keeping a low profile nowadays except for the one windbag that lets out a wet fart every now and then.

Thanks Matt for making my point for me. This whole Cecil debacle would have never happened had SCI not f@(ked up the politics with the lion scientists.
You think you are a supporter of hunting Matt??? You couldn't even begin to warm me up on the time, effort, and money I have spent on supporting ethical hunting.
With that time...I learned that SCI leadership was either as dumb as a box of rocks or really didn't give a $h!t about conservation...those who vehemently support them have to fall into one those 2 categories as well.
Which is it for you Matt???

Do you smoke a lot of weed? That is the only explanation I can think of for you blaming SCI for the 'Cecil' deal.

ledvmWell I guess it's the dumb as a box of rocks category for you then Matt.
