Thanks Saeed, the last time round some guys asked me to post hunts, and other guys just picked the price or package apart.

With all due respect, one never knows who will see a statement or a comment as a red flag on this site or not......

When you post on a public forum, part of the deal is others get to make whatever the heck comments they want (unless they violate the rules in which case the moderator can delete the post)!

My comment is that this is a very reasonable package, esp compared to what one would pay in Botswana for example. This season, I think they got around $75K for a lion and nearly that for a trophy elephant, and over $2K per day for daily fees. These are Calitz prices, and they sold out this season (I think they took something like 40 elephant but only a couple of lion were available). Frankly, I didn't know there were that many suckers out there.

If anyone knows better, feel free to correct me.

Forgive me for bringing this up, but I feel a bit different about this (and will probably be chastised about it again). I know no one cares, and it is an open, "free for all" on the internet, BUT I feel if someone advertise something that others disagree with, it is not the right course of action to try and trample what the guy is doing into the ground. It is one thing to haggle on price if you are interested, and put the guy trough his paces to see if he is up for the job or not, it is totally another thing just saying something shitty about the ad, because you can......

But hey, again, that's just me. I thought there might be a bit more chivalry when it comes to hunters talking about hunting, especially the big stuff.

It's not a big deal. Just wanted to speak my mind, as I clearly see it a bit more different than most other people.....

Infinito, I agree with your view about comments on others ads. If one is interested in the ad then contact the messenger and broker a deal. If not, then whatever comments one makes should be corteous unless the person knows there is something seriously wrong.illegal with the ads' contents!
