Basically it is has been very dry in all of ZIM and particularly dry in the southern and eastern sections (along the borders with MOZ and RSA).
ZIM Monthly

Tanzania has been dry, particularly in the northeast, some recent rainfall appears to helped the dry conditions. Currently it appears that near normal conditions exist in most of Tanzania.

I check mine on the yahoo web site under weather, has all the African countries and the major cities listed

I can't tell you about tanz, but zim is drought. very little moisture during rainy season, & in early march when we were there the grass was already turning brown. Total crop failure
