Safari-HuntBest place to post photos on the net.
Anybody knows of the best spot to post photos on the net without to much hassle with FTP or not and where the photos don't disappear after a while ??

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.
I like photobucket. I've been using it for a couple of years and haven't lost any pictures yet.

Charles_HelmI think I am the only one around using
Pbase. There is a charge (I think $23/year up to 400 megs) if you want to direct-link photos.
Photobucket seems pretty stable.

Wendell ReichCharles at $2/month, that is pretty reasonable. You can host (and view) some huge photos.

I have 854 pictures there using 660 Megabytes of storage space right now, including a number of them that I put up for other people. I like it but there have been times in the past where the links were not working. They have done a number of upgrades and right now it works well (fingers crossed). Plus you can link to the original size or one of a set of smaller sizes, so I usually post a medium-sized picture and then make it a link to the larger image.
