Anyone remember the exact name of the gathering/show/ convention?

I was present, however, my memory is not retrieving the name and year(s) to my satisfaction.

Game Coin...One of their projects was to bring rhinos to Texas, raise them, and return them to parts of Africa. Game Coin fell apart shortly after the death of Harry Tennison.

That project could still be done with some very wealthy sportsman with some tax breaks added to help save a species.

The more I think about it,
I think my last year was 84 or 85. (do not know what the final year was)

Think my first year was around 76-
although I had been told they had stared in 68 or 69 as a much smaller gathering

Game Coin had a joint convention with Dallas Safari Club one year. Maybe someone here recalls the year? I think they were on the decline at the time, and did not have enough members to put on their own convention.

I remember GAME COIN.

In the early 80's I was in Brownsville, Texas, and met a gentleman involved in it.

His name was Fausto Estoria if my memory serves me right.

A gentleman of pure class.

He invited me to stay at his house, and I remember seeing GAME COIN magazines.

Fausto Yturria. Great Guy. Still going strong. Had the pleasure of hunting on his ranch for whitetail and Nilgi.
