Me and Erika will try to make it. We are struggling a bit with the ticket as we had to wait for her visa. Will know before the end of the weekend though!

Are we having a Comfort Inn bash again? I will sponsor the food stuff and soft drinks this time. I remember Biebs said something about most of the hard liquor surviving last years bash?

If someone is working on this, drop me a line.

Sat get together at Comfort Inn (Holiday Inn at Market Center) for AR members. drinks and BS I mean intellectual discussion of past hunts etc.
Biebs will be in attendance so wear you chest waders or to be on the safe side bring mask snokel and swim fins. stuff gets deep around him

well, Charl, i know you, i, John, Max and several others tried to solve the left over booze problem by drinking it all- guess we failed and will have to rectify the situation next week.

Well I just might as well piss some people off. I don't understand a restaurant that has res. for 80 people at 6:00 PM and when the customers arrive the first thing you are told at the serving line is "We are out of Pulled Pork", this is just plain BS. The Brisket was salty and dry the sausage was poor, both the beef and pork ribs were passable. I hope AR finds a better place next year. Pappas Mexican joint is better and there are better restaurants in Dallas than either.

I was going to apologize for not making it to the AR Dinner....I was dragging my Fanny and got out of the show late too. Perhaps I didn't miss anything but the GREAT COMARADERIE with all of the AR members I have not met...and a $50 taxi ride round trip....
Sorry I missed it Guys...maybe a get together at SCI??

470eddy , I know what you mean, I look forward to this all year,,the DSC show and getting together with all the AR friends.

got to Dallas late Thursday and that night I was sick as a dog, finally got better for the life member breakfast only to have my wife come down with it, so no party's and only got to hit the floor for a few hours, got a shot from the girls with the B12 shots and that helped a lot!was able to push the coffee cart Sunday morning and that was all the volunteering I could do.

got to see don, Mike and Cherie , Tim and Shawn that was about it. Hell of a way to start the year,, Damnit !!! until next year,

for sure it would be nice if there was somewhere closer to the Conv Center. the $50 cab ride is a bit much...

No pulled pork because Hooker cornered the market on poked pork.
I was disappointed there was no mutton and suspect Hooker has a thing for Texas sheep too!
In Kentucky we barbecue mutton or put it in burgoo as a substitute for raccoon.
But we sure don't poke it!
