Re Chirundu Safari Lodge, Chirundu, Lower Zambezi Valley, Zimbabwe - has anyone hunted with this safari operator? It's tented camp in named "Tamarind Luxury Tented Camp". Any information will be appreciated. Thanks.

The hunting is controlled by Charles Davy and I he has the hunting rights to the Chiawa concession. If you are staying at Tamarind then you will be spoilt. Great area for Elephant and Buffalo. Hippo and Croc can be a bit dicey as it is also a photographic area. Who is the PH?

Thank you for the info. My PH is George Hallamore, whom I've hunted with previously and my experiences with George have all been beyond exceptional.

One of my friends killed a great lion, hippo, and croc with George at Chirundu the year before last. He had a great hunt, and after six trips to Zim said it was his favorite place to hunt. He said there were a lot of good buff in the area as well.

I thought so as well Andrew. I thought he was talking about one of the GMA's adjacent to Lower Zambezi NP.
