Thanks for the input. You confirm my gut instinct on this. I now have 270 Barrel on the way and hope to fire a few test shots this weekend. I plan on trying some of the new bonded core bullets. I'll let you know how it goes.

If you re-load I've used the 160 grain Nosler with great success in mine.
