Nice Luangwa Buff.

Christiaan Engelbrecht recently took this great buff in the Luangwa on a resident license. He managed to get up on a group of bulls and shot the one who best presented itself. Reports of some terrific bulls been taken in the Luangwa valley this year.

Congratulations Chris! That is a very nice bull. The Luangwa Valley has always had some magnificent cape Buffalo among a lot of fine animals of all kinds, with some quite rare in most other places!

As residents Christiaan and his mate Herman came down to Royal and bought a couple of end of season licenses. It works well and they catered for me as I was packing up camp for the rains.

Great buff and croc!!

The pictures remind me of the Walter buffalo picture though.

They are both big enough that there is no reason to stand so far back.
