LHeym500Ebola Epidemic back
This may happen more than what gets reported in US Media, but I get an African News station on Satellite. Just saw that in the Democratic Republic of Congo is the second worst in recorded history.
When my mother was in ICU we had a nurse who migrated from Gabon, if I am remembering correctly. He told me that it happens all the time exacerbated by eating and hygiene conditions in those areas.

SaeedEbola has been in the news non stop lately.
Some areas are supposedly effected all the time??
A bit scary really.

chuck375Really scary, during the previous outbreak one of the initial Ebola experts said the real fear is if each outbreak isn't stamped out quickly it could mutate into a more deadly (air borne?) form.

Bill/OregonThe layers of conflict make this outbreak a real challenge. I wish the responders luck.
Thanks for that very informative link, Opus.

Opus1Loads of fun trying to fight an outbreak in the middle of a war zone. Last month two medical workers were killed by rebels and the ADF, a Ugandan Islamist militant group, isn't making things any easier. These folks aren't the brightest light bulbs.
I would imagine this is going to get far worse before it dies down.
