Thankyou sir. Single entry in my case.
For a split second after reading your post I thought "damn, those crafty Zimbo crooks - charging more for double rifles than bolt actions"

I found $5's to go a long way in May. Particularly with the guy handling the guns.

SaeedYears ago we arrived at Vic Falls, when they charged $20.
I had two $20 notes in my hand, one for me and one for Walter.
I handed them together with our passports.
He stamped them, gave them back to me and one $20 back, saying "we don't charge our Arab friends"
That was the time when Mugabe was friends with Qaddafi!

Perhaps I should chance my luck. I'm arriving at Harare later today, on an Emirates flight. Wonder if they would believe me if I tell them flying an Arab airlines counts as friendship and that I'm pals with Dubai Mayor, the world renowned Saeed Al Maktoum ?
Would they waive my fee ....?

spey casterWhen I went through Vic Falls in 2021, the visa processing station rejected a $20USD bill for being too worn. Fortunately, I had other new, crisp bills to use.
Lesson learned: Bring new bills for cash payments. I am sure the camp staff would appreciate new bills for gratuity so they will be accepted without question as tender in the country, too.
