Ackley Improved UserMinimum cartridge for effective Cape Buffalo hunting?
What do you believe is the minimum cartridge and barrel (or gun type) needed for effective killing of cape buffalo?
9.3x62 or 375H&H. Bigger is better, imo.

Ackley Improved UserI get a sense that the .375 H&H is to Africa what the 30-06 is to North America - fair?

luv2safariI did it with a 9,3X74R, but wouldn't choose to try duplicating it again. Everything went right. I just "felt" under-gunned. I have opted for a 375 Ruger for taking buffalo this Sept.
