FlipRWS Solid bullets in 9.3x62
Does anybody know if RWS still make solid bullets in 9.3x62, I have read a while back that they have stopped making them.

<Dutchgus>I don't know if RWS still makes ammo with it, but the German company Kettner still lists this bullet in their 2002/2003 catalog. They sell it at Euro 809,-/1000 which is the same price as that for the TUG. For mail order info have a look at

I had a good look for the Frankonia web site about a year ago and found the closest thing to it. They do not have a "proper" web site.
I am looking back in my bookmarks to see if I can find the closest thing plus an email address. I will post it on this message when/if found.
Good hunting
Promised links
Here is the email address

An under construction web site
http://www.frankoniajagd.de/I think this site had some sort of links or pages originally. Don't know if it does now.

aHunterThey are in the Kettner catalog, I ordered 50 ( one box ) last week. Havent heard that they are there, neither that they are unavailable.
I think I will waste one bullet and cut it apart to look for thickness of jacket.. As I am also known as "aHunter, hater of plastics and Alu", I will tackle those bullets with magnet, too. Old RWS 7 mm H Mantels are steel jacketed, all other bullets Ive tested ( S & B, Norma, Lapua, PMP, ... ) are not steel.
Could somebody please report on results with those RWS solids?

AtkinsonRWS anything is a pain to find in the US...I suppose the OLd Western Scournger is the main source and he does not appear to keep them in stock....
I use Woodleigh and GS Customs...The GS Customs F.N. solids are the best in the world.
