You are a well respected poster on AR and many of us are embarrassed to make an offer. For me and my tastes, I place no value on the commemorative aspect of this fine rifle. I like rifles to be shooters and am not into decorations. You feel it is worth $2500 and I would not want to insult you with a low (cheapskate looking) offer.

dc: I'm a naval aviator and as such , I am FORCED to have thick skin . I was just going by what I've seen advertised before and realizing that some folks do collect these things. So go ahead, make my day.... jorge
