Passports and Namibia
Hi,
When going to SA your passport has to be valid at for at least six months and you need two empty pages etc in order to be allowed into the country. That I know. Does Namibia have the same requirements?
And while I´m at it: Does Namibia have any pests I don´t know of? Tse tse flies?

Tim Carneycewe,
Doesn't matter whether Namibian requirements are the same as South African. Always travel with a passport with greater than six months validity and at least two blank pages. Extra Blank pages added to your passport are easy to get and free. With 10-year validity passports, there's no excuse to mess around close to expiry.

Namibia does have malarial mosquitoes and active ones, depending on the area and/or time of year. The Caprivi Strip, at least the Mamili Reserve, also as tsetse flies. Suggest you doublecheck with your outfitter.

Wendell ReichYes, they do have the same requirement. No they will not budge on it. I have tried.
Thanks, I´ll apply for a new passport. As I´ll be spending my time in the Kalahari I guess I´m not in for any new suprises bug wise.
